Pfandtastisch! Eine riesige Meute Soundpirat*innen hat sich dazu bereit erklärt, feine Musik für den vierten und bisher größten Kopfüber Sampler zu produzieren.

Dieses Mal geht es nicht um die Schiffe der Seawatch, die wir mit dem letzten Solisampler unterstützt haben. Unser eigenes Schiff schwankt, angesichts der aktuellen Lage und steht stillgelegt in seinem Heimathafen. Daher haben wir uns entschlossen, Freund*innen und Crewmitglieder*innen zum Produzieren zu animieren und diese Soundsammlung dann als Soli Sampler für einen humanen Einklaufspreis auf Bandcamp zu stellen. Jegliche Einnahmen werden dazu genutzt, die monatliche Miete für unser Verwirrtshaus zu sichern!

Wir freuen uns auf eure Unterstützung, um unser Projekt in Zeiten wie diesen am Laufen zu halten.
In Zukunft werden alle Sampler wieder auf Spendenbasis sein!

Pawn-tastic! A huge mob of sound pirates* has agreed to produce fine music for the fourth and so far biggest Kopfüber sampler.

This time it’s not about the Seawatch ships we supported with the last soli sampler. Our own ship is wavering, given the current situation and stands idle in its home port. Therefore we decided to encourage friends and crew members to produce and then put the collected sounds on Bandcamp as a soli-sampler for a humane price. Any income will be used to secure the monthly rent for our Verwirrtshaus!

We are looking forward to your support to keep our project running in times like these. Future samplers will be free downloads again!

A big kiss to all who helped to write this exquisite piece of music history together with more than 20 artists*…

As many of you may know loving and caring for one another is something we stand by and is something much needed in these trying times. If this year has been hard on anyone it is those who unfortunately became a refugee. That is why we have decided to support those in need. Because there is very little we can individually do, our common goal is to raise money for various charities, so they can do the work we can not.
Because music has the ability to cheer up, heal and connect those who listen to it, it is music through which we hope to help. In the past year we have started collaborations with many artists. Every single one of them has made a masterpiece for us to put together into an album named “Ishtar”. This album is to celebrate the good things, heal and give hope to those who need it.

Spend some time alone.

We’ve all been spending a lot of time alone these days haven’t we?  Having to be apart from our friends and even families, for so long.  This alone time has been good for some, but each week it seems like the world takes a new and dark turn.   I wrote this edit right when this whole quarantine hit. I thought to myself, this will be the perfect tune for everyone needing a bit of uplifting energy… and to add a bit of joy to everyone’s solitary confinement. Yet, each week I thought to release it,  there would be something in the world that would pop up, and each week it never felt like the right time….

One after another, from covid19 to police brutalities, peaceful protests ending in violence, burning cities,  tear gassing citizens, so much death and destruction live streamed for the world, and we are all glued to it. This snowball seems to keep on going….and this road ahead doesn’t seem bright now…..But I have hope.

I spent a lot of time dancing to this edit alone in my basement. and it made me smile. I hope it brings a little smile to your face, and you find yourself dancing alone, maybe in your basement, your kitchen, on a jog, with your dog.  Let me know if you do! Thanks for listening, and thanks to the Heimlich hooligans for letting me release it with them. I hope we can all dance together very soon.

ꆛ The city is not a concrete jungle, it is a human zoo ꆜ

Finally! The heatwave caught up with us.
The streets are turning into quicksand, the minds melt away like mango sorbet and even the fastest sound don’t seem to catch up with each other. Or is that because Fog Puma just happens make them stick?

Anyway, we’re massively happy to welcome this colorful individual and acclaimed sonar traveller into our execution of a mile high club.
Besides running his cozy book and vinyl shop Zabriskie (https://zabriskie.de/) the foggy mixing-virtuoso is also hosting the Mystic Moods parties at Klunkerkranich.
For Flight Club número doce he whipped up an especially summerly array of obscure, tropical, dreamy(, and some other adjectives that got stuck in the tarpit outside) discs into a super delicious tape.
