FADE away 025 with IVA
Starting off her musical journey by training as a drummer, Iva found her true calling when she discovered electronic music. The realisation that she was able to apply her intense passion and understanding of complex acoustic rhythms to this whole new world cemented her love for mixing records, so she stepped out from behind the drum kit and into the DJ booth.
Signed to the Derrick May-founded techno agency TRANSMAT in 2018, IVA has already graced the stage at some of the most reputable venues and festivals on the planet, such as DGTL Barcelona, Brunch- In the Park, Kappa Futur Festival, or the main stage Fusion Festival to name a few.

Marc DePulse – exe.cute (Preview)
The first „Four To The Floor“ of the new decade is on the horizon.
FTTF Edition 17 starts with the track “Rotweinfleck” by Diynamic founder Solomun and it’s a dramatic dancefloor play. Excited percussions lead the way; then suddenly, the main piano theme strikes a chord, shy at first, but in an ever-growing crescendo, until it culminates and unloads its weight like thunder.
Next up is “You Must Understand”, a dark and dizzy grave wave influenced track by Atlanta-native Sejva that sounds like a sinister medieval ritual with monks chanting their hypnotic mantra to brand it into your mind.
Track no. 3 titled “exe.cute” by Marc DePulse is a futuristic melodic Techno tune with a dirty bassline, pairing space-age synthesizer sounds with retro guitar lick aesthetics.
And closing off, gizA djs return to FTTF with the 80s Italo Disco influenced, euphoric dancefloor anthem titled “Dolce”.
Lana Del Rey – West Coast (Solomun Remix)
Solomun hat sich die vergangenen Jahre in sehr ernste Spähren der elektronischen Musik hochproduziert. Jetzt also Popsternchen Remixe. Wir nehmen es hin, und schauen auf der nächsten Maxi mal nach, ob er drauf steht. Verdient hätte er es.
Elekfantz – Diggin’ On You (Solomun Remix)
Was macht eingentlich Solomun? Remixes und das wie immer sehr gut. Für uns ist das hier ein gutes Beispiel, wieviel manchmal noch aus einem Track herauszuholen ist bzw. wie man noch an das Thema herangehen kann. In Solomuns Fall herrlich zittrig und deep.
SOTD: Noir & Haze – Around (Solomun Vox Mix)
“What goes around just comes around” kennen wir in den unterschiedlichsten Variationen. Dass sich die Dänen Noir und Haze vom Label Noir Music des Themas nun annehmen klingt erstmal ganz in Ordnung. Mit dem Solomun Remix wird es aber bombastisch. Und wir alle singen mit:
Have you ever felt like you’ve been hurt before? By the ones that said they only loved you more.
