Melodule & Van Did – Téou
Chapter 24 returns with seven stories in sound collected from artists across the world to bring these themes to life.
NHAR (My Favorite Robot, Correspondant) is a consummate storyteller, and he opens the book with the glistening space tech of ‘Navigli’. This is quickly followed up by newcomer Dan Grassler, whose superb ‘Going Back’ with US vocalist KnowKontrol is powerfully brooding and promises great things for the Munich-based producer.
The momentum picks up further with the standout ‘Over My Head’, a dark and delicious cut from two returning Chapter 24 artists, Alex Zed and Billie Fountain.
The label welcomes Teho and Machino for their inaugural releases on the imprint. Frenchman Teho (Herzblut, Parquet) serves up a double helping of delight with the skilfully crafted ‘Back To The Forest’ and the tense tech house of ‘Drunken Leads’. Meanwhile, Machino (Desert Hearts), one of a new wave of Tijuana-based producers, showcases his unique blend of potent techno and ambient influences on ‘Perdidos’.
Finally, Melodule and Van Did bring the tales to a close with ‘Téou 12’, a dreamy, abstract piece that showcases wonky basslines, drifting pads and engaging sound design.
They say that there are only seven basic plots but a thousand different stories.
And so, as the storyteller utters that age old, magical phrase “Once upon a time…”, let yourself be carried away…
DJ-Set: Soukie & Windish’s Morning Glory Set @ Garbicz Festival 2016
@soukie-windish are one of the main movers and shakers on the Garbicz Festival in Poland. Wether as producers, bookers or Floor Managers the two guys see their engagement for electronic music as a counter argument against commercialization of electronic music – like the Tomorrowland.

As beautiful hot days of summer continues and Submarine Vibes has yet another perfect release lined up.
This time, it’s German trio T.M.A with their EP called Bozeman.
Talented Berliners, T.M.A. crafted three original mixes and they all are full of beautiful melodies, perfectly blended soft atmospheric sounds and charming summer grooves.
Bozeman is a stunning track with classic catchy bassline wonderfully mixed with positive summery synths and pads. Second track is called Beale Street and it’s a majestic pure deep house piece with an addictively good drive. Last original piece is Bukka White and it’s a beautiful track with catchy and charming piano riffs.
The first remix is done by BroFi, also two brothers who presenting their new fresh alias with this remix. One of the project members is also part of well-known duo Hanne & Lore. They’ve done a remix of Beale Street, more stripped down version yet full of exciting sounds and voices.
The second remix comes fromBerlin-based Tony Casanova. Bukka White is the track he remixed and it’s safe to say that Tony delivers his stunning and groovy interpretation of the track.
Whether it’s a beach or boat parties, sunny terrace gatherings or even dance floors of the night club Bozeman EP is simply packed with those wonderful summer vibes and pure house grooves making it perfect for almost any occasion.

Wir haben es mal wieder geschafft. Fast ein jahr ist es her, dass wir mal ein paar unserer Darlingplatten zusammen geschmissen haben und einen Mix fertig stellten. Der deisjährige Novembermix ist sowas wie ein schnellschuss, Torschusspanik, schmutzig gemixt und billig arrangiert. Aber über mangelnde Selbstkritik haben wir noch nie geklagt.
So ist die Nummer raus und wir hoffen, Ihr habt Eure Freude dran. Genug der Worte, jetzt seid Ihr dran.

TanzDurchDenKiez – DJ Set December 2011
Nachdem wir ja des Öfteren rumgemosert haben, dass die elektronische Tanzmusik in der Vielzahl ihrer diesjährigen Veröffentlichungen ein wenig zu cheesy, zu weich oder auch zu gleichgültig geworden ist, liegt es eigentlich auf der Hand, die Dinge selbst mal wieder anzupacken. Dass wir dann beim jetzt heraus gekommenen Promoset doch immer wieder in die Versuchung gerieten, den einen oder anderen groovigen und vielleicht auch kommerzielle Sound zu spielen, ist wohl einer tiefen Überzeugung zur sexyness dieser Musik geschuldet. Zum Tanzen, aufs Smartphone oder MP3-Player laden, laut spielen, sharen, liken oder weiss der Teufel was, reicht es aber allemal.
Jazzylectro Vol. 5
Was anfangs noch ein kleine Geheimtipp war, ist nun recht bekannt geworden. Die Jazzylectro-Reihe von DJ Cup of Jazz. Beschwingt wird hier HipHop mit Jazz, Swing mit Electro oder Breaks mit Chansons gemischt. Immer technisch auf höchstem Niveau. Jetzt also in der Nummer 5
Kinder diese Lieder
In einem Anflug höchter Emotionalität habe ich es mir nicht nehmen lassen, mal etwas komplett anderes zu spielen als elektronische Tanzmusik. Herausgekommen sind ruhige aber auch schwungvolle Nummer, die mich die letzten 5 bis 6 Jahre stetig begleitet haben.

Dass man bei EPM in Großbrittanien den vielen eletronischen Genres aufgeschlossen ist, bekommt man mit, wenn man sich nur mal 3 verschiedene Podcasts rauspickt. Das ist insofern ganz angenehm, als dass einem nicht immer der Einzeitsbrei supercooler Deephouse tunes präsentiert wird.
