“Nōpi is a newborn producer project from Ukrania. Established in early 2019, Nōpi was able to score releases on significant labels and his continuous flow of giveaways has quickly gained him some recognition. We are happy to help the young talent on his rise to the top and showcase 2 groovy, melodic house tracks, supported by our dreamy family-members Yoni Yarchi and Daniel van der Zwaag.

Daynight is able to deliver a bouncy and energetic baseline groove, further enforced with tight shakers and warm percussions. Gentle piano chords and soothing vocals are layered upon the bases and build a coherent atmosphere, that is characterized by subtle textures and smartly placed pad-sweeps.

With peculiar tension, main title track “The Forest” opens up its intro. A collaborating space of fieldrecordings set the mood of this song, while patient piano melodies and a warm, low-end bassline push the production forward. Subtle chants and an array of pads, create a haunting atmosphere – An adventure of mystical soundscapes, that is reshaped by our NWS-dreamers Yoni Yarchi and Daniel van der Zwaag.

Yoni’s remix immediately takes a brighter and life-affirming turn, by implementing an uprising & warm bassline, energetic percussions and a flourishing synth, that is playful and charming. Elevating pads and charismatic textures, give Yoni’s take and innocent feel in the most positive way.

A beafy low-end and hypnotic rhythmics are the foundation of Daniel van der Zwaag’s deeper approach. The symbiosis of the lonely piano with wide and open soundscapes, create the atmosphere of a lonely walk in the woods. The complementing layers of a pushing groove and an intimate top create an interesting feel, that keeps up the mystery of the original, fortifies it and reflects the story of a forsaken place.

Nine months after releasing Acuds Verbrennungsmotor Ep, we are not done with it yet. We found five wonderful artists to get everything out of the engine, which resulted in this new Remix EP. The title track, produced by ACUD and BEATMÖRTELZ, is here new interpreted in an impressive way by the downtempo specialists ARUTANI and O/Y, by RODION (ALIEN ALIEN), which is known for his massive Nu-Disco Skills, and finally, in a faster version, by AIO. Further LUKAS ENDHARDT gives the poetic track FLIEGEPETER a new look. The original version by ACUD will be published also in a radio version.

[Release Note]
Welcoming back Serbian producer Tebra for yet another EP of his progressive ethnic music. A year has passed since we released Krug EP and it was just the right time for some new music from one of our favorite producers. This new record features two original tracks: Helm and Mesečina.

Helm opens up with a clean sounding string arpeggio revealing itself slowly throughout the introduction. Oud melodies take over for a few bars, setting an eastern scenery and eventually leading to a minimal yet heavy drop. The piece evolves with taste as we go through enriched versions of these three sections. The atmospheric textures and vocals of the break complete this sumptuous journey through eastern electronic beats.

Mesečina emphasizes on oriental string melodies thoroughly supported by a bouncing low-end. Interesting ethnic percussions grooves and female vocals take over during the calmer parts of the piece, conveying a longing for new springs in remote places.

This time, we are gifted with remixes from two experienced producers whose work we admire. Raw Main has crafted a groovy alternative to ‘Helm’ sublimed with mind blowing synth arpeggios.

Timboletti has once again succeeded at delivering an insanely well produced remix. Beats merge with synths in a beautiful and precise way. There is a lot to discover in this rich soundscape, making sure Timboletti’s version will suit both home listeners and dancefloors enthusiasts.

‘Weapons’ sees a cascading low end masterfully evolve into a modulated bass pattern over the course of the record, the mounting tension provided by rolling snares and disguised vocal cuts. Catalan producer Piem provides a skilfully contrasted remix with undulating layers easing in and out of the mix. ‘Whoop Whoop’ weaves together crisply saturated drums with warped vocals, whilst ‘You Know’ rounds off the EP with classic tech-chords enriched by organic percussion elements.

After the great success of Johannes Klingebiel’s debut solo EP we had absolutely no doubt that an extra package including top notch remixes by good friends of our label would be mandatory:

Berlin based Rhytch delivers the smoothest mix of the bunch, with the occasional glitch to spice it up and readjust your idea of a tight groove.
As you may have guessed Conga Fever’s Seksi Disco Remix brings you exactly everything you desire to have a hipshaking dance under the mirror ball and maybe a bit more.
Our friend and jack of all trades David Hasert provides an interpretation of Latewood you can definitely name Techno. However we would call it – it’s absolutely fire in the hole!
Last but not least Watergate resident Ruede Hagelstein strips the track down to its core parts and proves that the concept of “less is more” is not just a theoretical, but a very practical and danceable one.
