Fluxion continues to carve his own musical path, taking us all together to a personal journey in his inner world, moods and moments, showcasing the importance of being influenced by none other than real life moments, people, expectations, joy, dreams and disappointments. Expressing what comes from the inside, instead of the outside. Creating a more intimate work, is at the main focus of the artist since his previous album Perspectives that came out in May 2020.

Artistic development happens from within, not from repeating formulas of the past, but embracing and mixing life events, alongside different styles of music culture, and creating personal stories, outside of trends, that’s what keeps the music interesting.
On Parallel Moves Fluxion flows through various emotional states, and through blending of styles and expanding the borders of them, he manages to create variety listening to the album, something essential on an LP. Mirrow ist eine absolut ausgereifte Produktion von der wir gerne mehr hören wollen. Wir wagen uns sogar soweit aus dem Fenster und behaupten, das wird eines der Alben des Jahres.
Release ist am 25. April und bis dahin wippen wir zu den bisher veröffentlichten Singles von Robots Don’t Sleep.

Robots Don’t Sleep – Little White Lies

Robot (Robert) Koch goes episch. Während er so im Studio an seinem 4. Album werkelt, haut der mal eben unter seinem Nebenprojekt Robots Don’t Sleep (der Name scheint Programm) eine EP raus, die man wohl getrost als Popmusik aus der Zukunft bezeichnen könnte. Bei Robots Don’t Sleep handelt es sich um ein Bandprojekt von Robert welches, anders als seine Solonummern, mehr Wert auf Melodien und Songwriting legt. Gefeatured wird er stimmlich von John LaMonica, der schon auf seinem letzten Album beim Track “The Other Side” mit von der Partie war.
Wir sind (an)gespannt, wie sich das weiter entwickelt. Der Junge ist wohl im Mainstream angekommen.

SOTD: Audiojack – In Principle

Audiojack sind schon so lange im Geschäft, dass sie eigentlich als sichere Bank gelten können. Eigentlich, denn für unseren Geschmack kam bei den beiden Briten doch auch oft viel seltsamer Sound raus. Sound der für unseren Geschmack zu Ibizaesk ist. Das ist bei In Principle nicht der Fall. In klassischer Switch-Manier (Jedenfalls erinnert uns die Nummer irgendwie an Get Your Dub On) wird hier derbe abgegroovt. Das fühlt sich geschrieben genauso blöd an wie ausgesprochen, aber mir fällt leider keine bessere Beschreibung ein. Film ab!

Jai Pauls BTSTU haben wir ja hier schon mal abgefeiert. Besser gesagt den Edit (vonwemauchimmer). Da er aber mehr so der Künstler ist, den wir nicht direkt auf unserem Radar haben, verfolgen wir sein Schaffen auch nicht direkt. Nur manchmal rutscht er dann beim surfen wieder an unserem Browser vorbei. Da ists dann auch egal, dass die Nummer vom März 2012 ist. Im Internet muss nicht immer alles so schnell sein. Das zeigt ja auch Jasmine Demo.
