Aber natürlich ist so ein rundes Jubiläum ein legitimer Grund rührselig zu werden und zurück zu schauen, ins goldene Licht der Erinnerung. Was Mollono.Bass und Marc Vogler dort sehen? Unforgettable Times natürlich. Mit dem für solche Erinnerungen typischen Unterton der süßen Melancholie und einem lebensbejahenden Kopfnicken ist der Track wie gemacht für jene Durchbruchmomente auf der Tanzfläche, denen er gewidmet ist. Womit wir bei noch einer 100 wären, nämlich Kombinat100. Zur Feier des Tages kommen wir in den Genuß eines unveröffentlichten Hits, der typischerweise am Siedepunkt ihrer legendären Live Sets zu hören war. Was auch immer sich hinter der Abkürzung T.T.Z.T. verbirgt – es ist erdig, dubbig und auf tiefgängige Weise verspielt.
EN: Catalogue number 100. No big deal, one could argue – after all 3000Grad strives to deliver 100 percent with each and every release. But well, of course this round anniversary is quite an appropriate reason to get all weepy-eyed and to look back into the golden light of memory. What is it Mollono.Bass and Marc Vogler glimpse there? Unforgettable Times, obviously. With its undertone of sweet melancholia and distinctly ecstatic vibes this tune is made to cause exactly those moments of blissful rapture it was inspired by. Which brings us to yet another 100, namely Kombinat100. In celebration of the special occasion they share one of their previously unreleased hits that was skimmed right from the boiling point of their legendary live sets. Whatever T.T.Z.T. actually stands for – it clearly has to do with earthy, dubby, deep and playful danceability.

3000Grad is approaching 100. Here’s two old friends to warm us up for this anniversary – two gentlemen who have been blowing up dancefloors on a weekendly basis since the last century already: Dole & Kom. On catalogue number 099 the two of them showcase their remarkable skill to merge the past, the present and the future into moments of uttermost bliss. How does that work? There’s the old magic of their warm, bouncy basses and the soft tickle of their hi hats, a magic that was already conjured up at ancient tribal dances. How masterfully this is done becomes clear when you realize that you can neither resist the catchiness of these three tracks nor explain it. Finally it all sounds very fresh and young thanks to it’s modern melodies and samples. By the way, you gotta take the title of this EP, Something Quiet, with a grain of salt – as deep, fluent and melodic as it might sound, it’s really tricky to keep your feet still when listening to it.

In the context of NekliFF’s new EP this direction leads us straight into a mental state very similar to a surreal dream. In no time, the track turns out to be a minimalist hypnosis trick. Inu has a very similar structure, but with its rolling bassline this tune digs even deeper. Keeping up this trend, NekliFF builds the title Soul around an enigmatic melody, creating a very spaced-out and trancy vibe. The remix of Molle aka Mollono.Bass picks up this very atmosphere as the inspiration for a dark, yet colorful dancefloor drama.
