We are super excited to present you another new artist that is joining the Dirt Crew family in this anniversary year where the label turns 20!. Since our start in 2004 we have always strived to release new talent and kickstart their career and with Los Latidos we have some real rough, original and deep, soulful tracks for you, topping all off with a first class remix from our last label signing J. Peacock from London.

Los Latidos aka Rafael Cohen was born in Mexico City and currently lives in New York where he plays and tours with the Warp Records dance punk band !!! (chk chk chk). His music career has gone from releasing records on the legendary DC punk label Dischord Records, to recording with jazz great Anthony Braxton. His work as Los Latidos focuses strictly on the dance floor and this – his third EP and debut for Dirt Crew Recordings – continues what Resident Advisor called “a feast of acid squelches, breakbeats and house kicks” over four new tracks of psychedelic, soulful, Detroit influenced house music.

Es war uns ein formidables Fest. Aus geplanten vier Stunden wurden dann irgendwie fast acht =)

We continue strongly into 2024 with an artist we have loved for quite some time here at Berlin-Brighton towers. We are very excited to to have been able to catch up with Dachshund who has also delivered an exquisite selection of vibes as part of his guest mix.

Being a rather prolific producer, Dachshund has released tracks on various imprints such as Bar 25 Music, Highgrade, 8Bit, Gruuv, Upon You, Rebellion to name a few and also made some remixes on labels like Noir Music, Systematic, Kling Klong, and many more.

Based on an open approach and a taste for what is unpretentious yet complex, his musical preference is for groovy music crafted under the influence of emotions, not fashion. His incredible and lengthy discography tells you everything you need to know.
