In unserer Reihe: Acts die scheinbar jeder kennt und die wahnsinnig erfolgreich sind aber uns nie aufgefallen sind, heute: Fur Coat
Ansich ist das ja schon bemerkenswert, dass so ehrlich deeper Sound einfach mal in Venezuela produziert wird und dann auch noch seit 2004. Gut, wir hätten es wissen müssen. Niemand geringers als Crosstown Rebels Cheffe Damian Lazarus hat die Jungs entdeckt und gleich mal auf selbem Label rausgebracht. Aber da waren wir womöglich mit Minimal beschäftigt. Nun schieben sie ihre darken Nummern aber durch unsere Boxen und wir blättern mal im Backkatalog.

Heute haben wir mal Lust auf was richtig Brachiales, ja schon fast in die Industrial Ecke driftendes. The Third Man. Dieser britische Herr schickt sich nämlich an, sein Debutalbum ‘Beyond the Helisophere’ zu releasen. Alles wunderbar düster wie so eine runtergekommene Industrieanlage in Manchester. Dass man auf der Insel Techno kann, muss The Third Man nicht beweisen, dass es aber nach vorne geht, zeigt er ganz gut.

btw: am 5. Juli kann man The Third Man zusammen mit Claro Intelecto bei der Release Party zu Beyond the Helisophere beklatschen.
